Learn Fast – Hands-Free Flashcards AndroidApp

Forget old, boring methods of learning languages. 📚 There’s a new way to learn — while driving, walking, training, or relaxing — without even touching your phone.

Meet NotifyWord – an Android app that combines automation, audio learning, and flashcards to help you memorize faster and more naturally.

🎯 Why Learn While Driving?

Your commute doesn’t have to be wasted time. With NotifyWord, you can turn driving into a productive, language-learning session. Here’s how it works:

🚀 Step-by-Step Workflow:

Generate flashcards with ChatGPT
Prompt example:

“Generate 60 flashcards for learning English, topic: [e.g. working in a shop, medical help, job interview, logistics]. Format: English – Spanish. Each on a new line. No special characters, just a regular dash (-).”

Import into NotifyWord
Paste the list into the app or NotifyWord.com – click import – done.

Activate AUTOLEARN Mode
NotifyWord will automatically read, display, and repeat flashcards at intervals you set – 10s / 30s / 45s / 1min – no need to interact.

🧠 Learning Without Touching

✅ Reads flashcards aloud while you drive 🚗
✅ Displays them on screen if you glance at your phone
✅ Repeats content to boost memory
✅ Uses both eyes and ears for multisensory learning
✅ Works with your favorite music – lowers volume when reading a flashcard, then restores it (AudioFocus)

💡 Smarter Features:

Reverse flashcard mode (translation in both directions)

Random order for better memory retention

Mark as favorite or mark as learned

Study only what you need

Choose different languages/voices for front and back of flashcards

☕ Learn While You Move
Whether you’re:

  • driving 🚗
  • jogging 🏃
  • walking 🚶
  • cooking 🍳
  • cycling 🚴
  • or relaxing on the couch 🦥

You can still immerse yourself in language learning without stopping what you’re doing.

Language learning with artificial intelligence and a flashcard app for Android.

Flashcards are small paper notes or digital cards used for learning and memorizing information. One side usually has a question, word, or concept, and the other side the answer, definition, or translation. They’re often used for learning foreign languages, terminology from various fields, historical dates, and other information that needs to be memorized. Flashcards are popular because they enable effective, repetitive learning and self-testing.

  1. Love the concept of turning commute time into meaningful learning sessions! The integration of audio playback with spaced repetition is especially clever—hands-free learning that actually sticks. Curious if the app adapts the intervals based on how well you’re retaining certain flashcards over time?

    1. No – the app doesn’t use an SRS. This means you can focus purely on memorization, without having to think about whether you’re recalling things “correctly” based on spaced intervals. You’re in control of your learning pace.

In manual flashcard mode, you can mark cards as “learned” and hide them from future reviews – allowing you to repeat only the ones you still need to work on.

In Autolearn mode, however, cards cannot be marked as learned. This mode is designed for passive exposure – you simply read and/or listen, without any interaction or manual filtering.

  2. I appreciate how this app promotes a more natural and flexible way to learn. Driving while learning can be tricky, but with features like audio focus and flashcards popping up when you glance at the screen, it feels like a balanced approach.
